About The Museum Society

The Presque Isle Township Museum Society, Inc. was formed in  1998 as a non-profit organization dedicated  to the restoration and preservation of the 1905 Keeper's House.  The Society now manages the museum under a lease agreement with Presque Isle Township.

The restoration of the 1905 House has been completed through grants from community foundations and businesses, generous donations from Society members, and hundreds of hours of volunteer labor. The Museum Society is a 501(c3) organization that accepts donations of funds and artifacts that are historically appropriate.
